— The DSRT House derives from pre-fabricated geometry and can be moved, placed and produced off-site in a controlled setting. Surrounded by nature in a secluded yet accessible setting, the north facing Pavilion pays homage to the traditional Japanese Ryokan inn and looks over acres of untouched landscape and mountains in the distance. The modules that make up the program of the pavilion which features a living room, traditional bedroom suites, an outdoor dining room and indoor common area with a full kitchen. Two en suite bedrooms feature natural woods, floor-to-ceiling windows, private outdoor alcoves, and are connected to the gallery which lead to the common spaces and outdoor terraces.
The Pavilion is a contemporary homage to the traditional Japanese Ryokan inn, strikingly minimalist in geometry and sacred geometry that are surrounded, in a sense of calm landscape.
