UNCRATE ISSUE 04

Pulling up to the Folly cabins, their rusty steel façade reads like a pair of abandoned sheds, forgotten by time among the Joshua Tree landscape. But peel back the weathered skin and you'll find a highly livable space.

The main cabin is a modest 460 square feet. Its raw plywood interior offers a living space, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping mezzanine within its compact shell. A wooden deck with an outdoor soaking tub leads to the second building. Follow the staircase and you'll find the Stargazing Portal. The open-air suite offers pristine views of the night sky, allowing guests to experience the cosmos from a heated queen bed.
